In 2025, an important project was launched to build a facility called the Municipal Solid Waste Landfill in the Belogorsky District of the Republic of Crimea. This facility will be located on the territory of Novozhilovsky rural settlement.
The technical customer is ECOTECH LLC, which assumes responsibility for many aspects of the project. The construction of such a landfill is an urgent task for the region, as the management of municipal solid waste (MSW) is becoming an increasingly important issue in the context of population growth and increasing waste volumes. The company’s specialists are responsible for carrying out design and survey work, organizing the construction of the facility, as well as conducting engineering and technical support. This implies not only monitoring of construction, but also interaction with various state and municipal authorities. This is an important aspect to ensure that the project complies with all necessary norms and standards.
At the moment, the ECOTECH team is at the initial stage of the project, which includes project financing. This means that the company actively cooperates with banks and other project participants to ensure the necessary investments. The project’s financing is scheduled to open at the end of February 2025, which will allow moving on to the next stage — the direct construction of the landfill.
The functions of the technical customer will be expanded in the future. In addition to construction control, the ECOTECH team will conduct a construction audit, which includes preparing and submitting reports to the REO design company. These reports will indicate what amounts of work have been completed and what their cost is, which is important for transparency and cost control within the project.
ECOTECH has the necessary qualifications and is a member of a self-regulatory organization (SRO), which confirms its competence in various fields. In particular, she is a member of the SRO in the field of engineering surveys, construction and architectural and construction design. In addition, it has the right to build, reconstruct and design at particularly dangerous, technically complex and unique capital construction facilities. This is an important aspect for the implementation of projects such as the MSW landfill.
